Immediate lifting effet, with no surgery.
WHAT IS IT?:
Suspension threads used in aesthetic medicine are bio-resorbable, made of similar componants as suture threads used to close a surgical wound. The thread is held in place under the skin thanks to resorbable microscopic cones oriented in opposite directions.
WHAT CAN BE TREATED?:
Suspension threads correct signs of skin aging such as ptosis and skin laxity. Most common indications:
loss of oval definition
jowls, loss of cheek volume and definition
double chin
loose skin in the neck and décolleté area
loose skin in the upper arm and interior of thighs areas
PRACTICAL INFORMATION?:
After a small local anesthetic, the doctor inserts the suture under the skin using a soft-tip cannula. One or more threads may be applied on each side of the face or body, depending on the patient's desire and the treated area. The procedure lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the number of threads applied.
RESULTS:
In only one session, the patient benefits from a lifting effect on the face, neck, or décolleté. Results may last up to 2 years. The application of suspension threads is a reliable, minimally invasive procedure. After the treatment, a slight edema or bruising may occur. Sometimes a slight depression or skin irregularity may appear at the entry points. These inconveniences disappear a few days after the procedure.
